These Stapleton clients love to have summer block parties and entertain in their front yard. The problem was there was nowhere for everyone to sit and hang out.

To solve this problem, we dry laid a chocolate flagstone patio on one side of the entry. We created steps down from the stoop leading to the new patio. To retain back the grade for the new patio, decorative moss rock boulders were craned into place. These boulders not only serve for retention but also a surface on which to sit. Siloam stone slabs were hand-selected for the stair case on the other side of the patio. Pavers were strategically left out of the patio and hardy succulents were added in these planting nooks. We planned for the drip system to water these nooks prior to laying the patio.
